As an API community, let us stand united for Black lives. We must check our own privileges, any internalized racism, and complacency as allies. Commit to addressing the inequities that disproportionately affect the Black community. We can do better. As protests demand to bring justice for many including Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, we must educate ourselves on how to dismantle a system that oppresses all people of color. We share the history and battle against systemic oppression and inequality.

Our liberation is tied together.

We stand with you.
