Seeking Nominations for President of NAAAP Boston for 2012 Term
Do you know someone keen on honing her or his leadership and executive capabilities in a vibrant non-profit organization? Are you interested yourself?
NAAAP Boston is preparing for transitions in our Chapter’s top executive position. We are prompting for nominations internally as well as from throughout the Greater Boston Asian professionals community. Please help NAAAP Boston publicize this exciting leadership opportunity.
As we do each fall, NAAAP Boston is conducting annual elections for our Chapter's Officers and Directors. Specific information about the election process for 2012 is published in these News Articles. We encourage interested individuals to seriously consider applying for these important leadership positions.

About NAAAP Boston and the President Position
Our Boston Chapter is very vibrant and successful. We operate with a solid leadership team which we sustain through careful attention to succession planning. For the upcoming 2012 term, our current President, who has served with great dedication for five years, will step down and the position will become open. As this is an exciting leadership position which will further advance NAAAP Boston, we are taking active steps to develop candidates. Our current President and our Executive Vice-President will actively work with the incoming President assure a smooth transition.
PRESIDENT
The President publicly represents NAAAP Boston to members, potential members, sponsors and partners. As Chief Executive, s/he leads operations. The President is a public persona, advocate, cheerleader, and works with Officers, the Board, and Committees to deliver high value to members and all our stakeholders. With a flexible and lively organizational environment, the President brings energy and ideas, and leads efforts to deliver regular events and programs to benefit everyone in NAAAP Boston. The President improves the organization. Along with effective operations, the President strategically develops quality future leaders and develops choice opportunities to enliven and improve NAAAP in an environment of change and action.
