Are you interested in getting more involved in NAAAP Boston? Would you like to build your own leadership skills and enrich your network with important professionals in many fields? Now it is time! NAAAP Boston's Membership Committee has an open co-chair position.

The goal of the membership committee is to grow NAAAP Boston's membership base by recruiting new members and retaining current members. Respond to the needs of current and prospective members.

The person must be an active NAAAP member for at least six months and have attended various NAAAP events. A strong desire to support NAAAP Boston, its values and initiatives is a must. We are an all-volunteer organization and you are giving your time and efforts. You can actively take advantage of various opportunities to develop your own leadership skills with the support of your co-chair and fellow leaders. This will be a rewarding experience for anyone willing to challenge themselves by taking on a leadership role. It's also flexible how Co-chairs organize their time and participation with teammates and partners. As a key representative of NAAAP, a Co-chair must be well-organized and responsive in dealing with both internal (e.g. other NAAAP committees) and external parties (e.g. Sponsors).

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and attend NAAAP Boston events, share membership benefits with prospective members; recruit new members.
  • Serve as a resource to members, non-members, NAAAP Boston leaders regarding membership-related information.
  • Assist other committees in the planning and implementation of events.
  • Maintain membership database online and generate monthly membership committee report to executive team.
