The Technology Committee has an open position for a new co-chair. We are looking for a person who has been a NAAAP Boston member for at least six (6) months, and is in good standing.

This invidual should be familiar with web design/development. A degree in Computer Science is helpful, but not required.

A strong desire to help support the NAAAP Boston community is a must. This is a volunteer position, so hours are flexible.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administrate the naaapboston.org website
  • Assist other NAAAP Boston leaders with technical issues, including:
    • adding new events to the calendar
    • adding recaps to past events
    • uploading photos
    • updating committee pages
    • updating biography pages and self-portraits
  • Assist members with technical issues, including:
    • RSVPing to events
    • paying for events via PayPal
    • confirming membership status
  • Assist corporate sponsors with technical issues, including:
    • posting jobs
    • updating corporate logos
  • Manage the NAAAP Boston PayPal account
  • Manage the NAAAP Boston social networking accounts, including:
    • Facebook
    • LinkedIn
    • Twitter

Future Enhancements:

  • Development of new reports for use by other committee co-chairs.
  • Integration of the NAAAP Boston e-mail accounts with smart phones.
  • Design and development of a new look and feel for the website.
  • Creation of a mobile version of the website, for browsing on smart phones.
  • Integration of 3rd-party components, including ConstantContact.
