Born and grow up in Beijing, Monica is fluent in Mandarin. She has been involved with NAAAP Boston since the 2008 and became membership co-chair since Dec 2009.

After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and International Business at Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade in Shanghai, China. She then proceeded to expand her knowledge of accounting and earned her Master's Degree in Accounting at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. From summer 2008 to fall 2009, she worked as an accountant at American Civil Liberties Union. Right now she is the staff accountant at Education Development Center, Inc Newton, Massachusetts.
