Currently the President and General Manager of Lee Wing Management, Leverett Wing has been active in community endeavors, and the world of politics, for many years. Most recently, Leverett was the first-ever Executive Director of the MA Asian American Commission, and he was asked by Governor Deval Patrick to serve as a member of the Governor's Core Transition Team as Governor-elect Patrick prepared to take office in 2007.
He currently serves on the Board of Overseers of WGBH-Television & Radio as well as Joslin Diabetes Center. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Asian Community Development Corporation as well as the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence. Recently, he was one of the founding members of the new Increasing Diversity in Civic Leadership program started by the Boston Foundation.
Leverett is also very active in grassroots organizing & fundraising endeavors on behalf of the Asian American community in both the political and non-profit spheres. At its 50th Anniversary Celebration, the Greater Boston Jr. Chamber of Commerce selected Leverett as one of Greater Boston's Ten Outstanding Young Leaders.
He is an alumnus of Tufts University and Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
