On
July 8, NAAAP Boston hosted its second Summer Networking Series
event, the Rooftop Networking Mixer, at Splash Ultra Lounge. With well
over 100 in attendance, the event went down in NAAAP Boston history as
one of the best attended mixers in recent memory.Attendees
enjoyed delicious hor d'oeuvres as they networked their way up to the
roofdeck to enjoy the sunset. Conversations buzzed all night, even
during the occasional drizzle—unfazed, NAAAPers stepped into the cabanas
and kept right on chatting! Many continued mingling even after the
official end time, among them 2011 NAAAP Scholarship Award winner Sally
Liang and Boston City Councilor Tito Jackson. A warm welcome to the
members who joined that night, Xiao Long and Aaron Pic, and thanks to all who attended!Organized by the Networking Committee,
NAAAP Boston networking mixers are an excellent opportunity to catch up
with old friends, make new acquaintances, and strengthen your
network—and they are always fun. Our next mixer will be in September;
