View the PhotosOn Saturday, July 23rd, NAAAP Boston held its Annual Summer Picnic at Arsenal Park in Watertown, MA. It was a typical hot summer in the city type of day but many braved the heat and came out to have a good time, enjoy some great barbecue and network, of course.

Once food was served, the crowd was treated to burgers, hot dogs, sausages, turkey tips and steak tips. There were also sides such as tossed salad, potato salad, rolls, pasta salad and corn on the cob but many were focused on the steak tips so the sides became more of an afterthought. We also had activities available such as badminton, football, frisbee, basketball and tennis but given the hot and humid weather most guests continued to eat and chat with friends and new acquaintances.

Overall, the event was a success thanks to our guests. Additionally we'd like to thank Big Pig Barbecue and Catering for the food and the Watertown Parks and Recreation Department for their assistance with logistics.
