NAAAP Boston's Community Service Committee hosted the annual Volunteer Appreciation Celebration to thank their volunteers for their service and dedication this past year. 14 NAAAP members and leaders attended this event at the Blu restaurant. Everyone enjoyed drinks and hors d'oeuvres as they mingled with familiar friends and new committee members.
A slideshow was on display showcasing pictures from all the volunteer events in the past year along with a summary of the NAAAP CSC contributions to the community.
Everyone participated in a fun ice breaker to get to know the other volunteers in the committee. Afterward, six NAAAP members were recognized for their outstanding service. They included Lick Lai, David Sadeli, Phuong Ho, Tommy Fang, Zin Ma, and Amanda Wong. Upon receiving his award, Lick shared his experience volunteering with NAAAP and what it means to him.
All attendees also received a small bamboo plant as a gift for their continued support in NAAAP Boston Community Service and in the community.
Overall, everyone had a great time, and the Community Service Committee looks forward to another successful year.
