On Saturday, July 10, 8 NAAAP members and volunteers came out to volunteer at the Cradles to Crayons (C2C) warehouse in Quincy, MA. The group was greeted by friendly C2C staff and after signing in all volunteers was quickly put to work.
Our group was tasked to:
- Organize the shoe inventory to free up warehouse space
- Sort donated shoes/footwear by size
- Box up shoes and properly label them according to child size (infant/toddler/adult)
- Stocked boxes on warehouse shelves according to size
- Inspected various puzzles, games, and toys for donation
Thank you to all of our volunteers for taking time out of their busy weekends and for making the commitment to help C2C work towards its mission of providing basic necessities for children in need within the greater Boston area and for supporting the NAAAP Boston community service team. We could not have done it without you.
