The Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival of Boston took place Sunday, June 13th. The skies were overcast and there was a chill in the air but that didn't dampen the spirits of the NAAAP Boston 2010 Dragon Boat Team. After a month of dedicated practice and hard work, it was time for our team to shine.
This year's Captain was veteran Dragon Boater Chau Ly who kept the team on track, pushed everyone to demand the best of themselves for race day and promoted great team spirit and camaraderie amongst her crew. The practices were led by experienced dragon boat coaches from Living Root, Dave and Sandy Parker. On Sunday, our team came in 2nd in all three races, finishing each in under 3 minutes with their best time being 2:47. It was a terrific showing for which they should be very proud.

JP Morgan won with a time of 2:46.603. The Dragonheart VT team came in at 2:52.796
- Race 2 Time: 2:53.711
Verizing Dragons won with a time of 2:49.211. The Ocean State team came in at 2:57.444
- Race 3 Time: 2:52.631
Liaison won a with time of 2:51.602. The South Cove team came in at 3:01.616
