On Wednesday, December 9th, we held our Dressing for Success event in Boston. In the downtown studio of 9tailors, we had an informal gathering of NAAAP members and guests. They got the chance to hear Samantha Shih speak about how she became founder and CEO of 9tailors, a custom dress shirt business catering to men and women. We learned about her career path, how the idea for a custom-made dress shirt business came about, some of the challenges and successes. Afterwards, everyone was encouraged to check out a few shirt samples, to get custom fitted for shirts or to get some style advice from Sam and her team.
