FULL - Volunteer - Cradles to Crayons

NAAAP will show our warm and giving hands to the community on July 11th from 1-4 PM at Cradles to Crayons's warehouse in Quincy, MA. We will be recruiting 30 to 35 volunteers to help Cradles to Crayons sort and pack toys and clothing for underprivileged children.  As volunteers, the group might inspect books, pack clothing, sort through toys, stuff backpacks, or help with a dozen other tasks that allow us to process and fill orders for over 300 kids in desperate need each week. 

Everyone should be prepared to work on his/her feet during that three-hour period.  Since this is a warehouse, we ask all volunteers to wear comfortable clothing and ONLY closed-toed shoes (no sandals or flip-flops).

Cradles to Crayon's mission is to provide, free of charge, low-income and homeless children from birth to pre-teen the basic essentials they need to be safe, warm, ready to learn, and valued.  For more information about Cradles to Crayons please visit their website (www.cradlestocrayons.org) to see all the good things they do and how to help out further.
