About the Conference Series

Taking Charge of Your Career Success is NAAAP Boston's and Dreambridge Partners' major new professional development service offering. It's a comprehensive conference series uniquely designed to help Asian professionals develop critical strategies for career advancement and leadership. The year-long program is organized as a series of in-depth, interactive, once-a-quarter conferences beginning in the Fall of 2010. While each conference is a self-contained module, the full impact of the program is gained by attending the whole series.

NAAAP Boston will award a professional development certificate to individuals who complete the full Series.

75 - 90 Asian professionals attended each of the first three conferences and they rated the events very highly.  To see the photo recaps CLICK HERE for Conf #1 (Nov 2010), CLICK HERE for Conf #2 (Feb 2011) and CLICK HERE for Conf #3 (May 2011)

Who Should Attend

The series is targeted for Asian professionals, in all industries, professions and public sectors, who are serious about their career success. It's especially valuable for working Asian professionals, individuals who have competence in their technical and core functional skill areas, who are ready to do more, and who want help in knowing how. For example:

  • You have at least three years working experience, or much more.  You may be seeing opportunities to manage and lead projects, resources and people.
  • You want to take advantage of the career programs that your employer offers, and realize you may require new or improved communication, networking and influence skills.
  • You have heard the advice about "promoting yourself", and would like to learn how other Asians are able to perform what can feel like un-Asian behaviors. You would find value being with people who can more readily relate with your experiences, hesitations and concerns.

What should Companies, Organizations and Corp. Sponsors know about this Conference Series

The Conference Series is an ideal and unique forum for organizations to send their Asian employees to for professional development. The Series will help your Asian employees more actively participate in your Company's or Organization's career management programs and become the confident leaders you want them to be.
