Service
The committee provides a variety of volunteer opportunities
and other events to help engage NAAAP members in community
outreach efforts.
Events
The goal is to provide activities that are social such as
networking and cultural events that allow for members of NAAAP
to meet one another.
Corporate Relations
Members build and cultivate long-term relationships with current
and prospective corporate sponsors. The committee seeks to
develop partnerships as sources of financial support, business
contacts, and career opportunities. Activities include fundraising
and account management.
Membership
This committee manages the relationships with all members
of NAAAP-Boston. The goals of this committee include: recruiting
new members, increasing current membership benefits, and promoting
diversity within the organization. The committee is also responsible
for communicating pertinent information to the general membership,
obtaining membership feedback on events, and handling any
membership inquiries.
Public Relations and
Marketing
The Marketing and Public Relations committee's main objective
is to raise the exposure and awareness of NAAAPBoston in the
community. This team is also charged with supporting the communications
between NAAAPBoston's officers, committee heads, members,
corporate sponsors, partner organizations, and the media.
Newsletter
Members oversee the production and layout of the monthly newsletter.
The committee is also responsible for gathering content, editing,
managing sponsorship ads, and supporting committees with information
dissemination.
Professional Development
The committee coordinates networking events, seminars, educational
workshops, speaking engagements, and gathers resources to
help NAAAP members further their professional development.
Scholarship
Members participate in the selection process of scholarship
candidates, including the review of applications and final
interviews.
Student Outreach
The committee was formed to provide guidance, leadership and
professional development skills to undergraduate and graduate
students.
